The outcomes of the project Digital Tutors are divided into 4 Intellectual Outputs (IOs). The first IO is “DIGITAL TUTOR role definition and competences map”. One of the steps contributing to finalizing this IO is to conduct interviews with some experts and VET Centres at the partner’s locations. Partners also sent out the survey to the VET teachers and employees at their organization to gather information about the desired competences a Digital Tutor should have.

The activities included creating & sending out the surveys to the Dutch teachers from a Dutch project partner. The survey was made in Google Forms, converted to Excel and analysed by using graphs for the data collected. For the interview, it was conducted online between Hester and another teacher from ROC Friese Poort (one of the project partners). The interview followed a basic script which had different kinds of questions (multiple choice, short/long answers). Together with the analyses from other partners, all the data collected will be used to create the complete Competences Map & Role Definition for the digital Tutors. This action has contributed to the finalizing of the first Intellectual Output of Digital Tutors. Some brief feedbacks from the participants were: Nice logo, The role definition is too complicated, I want to learn more tips and suggestions about online teaching from other teachers, etc.
